Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR). As we source our wild caught crabs from Bicol to further south in Zamboanga, we’ve collaborated with BFAR especially with regards product traceability, food safety, facility readiness etc. Since 2019, BFAR and RGE continuously adopted a Philippine-first principle by showcasing the latter’s products in the annual Euro-based Seafood Expo Global (SEG) and by campaigning for the use of 100% local crabmeat. Philippine Association of Crab Processors, Inc. PACPI. RGE is a founding member of PACPI with the late Robert Eduardo serving as founding chairman. It is composed of stakeholders formed to develop sustainable practices in crab fishing including stock enhancement and the formulation of the blue swimming crab management plan. In 2025, PACPI agreed to expand its activities related to the progression and advancement of its sector.
NFI-Crab Council. Through PACPI, RGE continues to engage with the US NFI Crab Council for the funding and implementation of crab fishery improvements.
