RGE: A History of Trust
Back in 1999, RGE started small with a big belief: that Philippine seafood — our squid, scallops, and crab — could hold its own anywhere in the world. We opened our doors to importers and got to work.

Long before anyone required it, we built food safety into everything we do — becoming the first Philippine processor certified to the international gold standard for safe handling (HACCP). If it wasn't good enough for our own family, it didn't leave the plant.

By 2010, buyers overseas weren't just trying us — they kept reordering, and RGE was named a top regional exporter. That same year, our CEO founded and chaired PACPI, the country's crab-sustainability group, protecting the catch for the fishing families who depend on it.

We added more international quality marks — pairing world-class quality management with strict food safety (BRC) — and earned Halal accreditation, so our seafood honors Muslim customers too. The same care, for every kind of table.

We'd been sending our crab to American tables for years — but in 2015 it became official. RGE earned US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) accreditation, the first purely Filipino-owned crab exporter ever recognized this way. The same standards we'd always kept, now affirmed by one of the world's strictest food-safety authorities.

We rolled out our own tubs and — accredited by the Philippines' BFAR — became the first local processor ready for Europe's strict standards (EU-approved). It means we can trace every batch back to the exact catch it came from. You always know where your seafood has been.

After our first shipment to Europe in 2017, word spread fast. In just 18 months, RGE was reaching six countries — trusted in kitchens far from the waters where the crab was caught.

In 2023, RGE sent its first shipments to Thailand, Dubai, and Singapore. Today, RGE Agridev Corp. has added 5 star hotels, cruise ships and airline caterers to its growing customers. New tables, same promise. More than two decades on, we're still doing what we set out to do in 1999: earn your trust, one order at a time.
